Whew its hot here in Happy Rock (gladstone) ! Hard to get motivated to get too much done at all , but I did manage to get Ruthie Bear made .A very lovely softie bear designed by "Retro Mama" from etsy.

I am typing this listening to the lovely rain outside .It has been a while since we've had a decent amount of rain ,so the sound is like music to my ears.....

I did manange to get another item made last week .No sorry , no raggedies yet!
This delightful little girls cushion has a felt doll on the front which you can play dressups with.
It is ever so sweet and I wish I had this pattern when my Kelsey was little.
The very clever designer of this is "Wee Wonderfuls"

Well back to the machine while the weather is nice and cool.

Haven't done to much this week as it's been so terribly hot here, but today it has finally cooled down abit so it's back into it. (In between watching the cricket that is ) .

This is another of the sweet stuffling range by Gingermelon over on Etsy. This cute little owl still have to have accessories added to it but you get the idea.

I am trying to do a mixture of childrens items rather than just dolls as quite frankly I am so over seeing the same dolls everywhere.

I have been having a go at these wonderful critters by the very talented "Gingermelon".
They are made from beautiful coloured wool felts and all handstitched.
Keep an eye out as I will be listing many more if these delightful creatures over the coming weeks.

I am very excited about what I am working on at the moment! let's just say if you played with paperdolls as a little girl you will love this new adaption for your little girls /boys.

Hmmmm who owns this sad sad neglected little blog . Ohhhh that would be me ! I seem to remember doing a similar post about this time last year .Still no excuses ! just poor time management .

Well let me fill you in on whats been going on.....
I was still doing my raggedies up until about October last year as well as starting to get more into the softies craze for the markets here in town.
As well as trying to sew we have been painting the inside of our house , this is very time consuming and slowed me down abit.

So what is in the plans for 2012 you ask????
Well my darling family bought me a laptop for Christmas and this is going to make my web work much easier and hopefully more frequent. (I know , we've all heard that before) :)
I am looking at returning to parttime work (night work) and even though that sounds like it may take more of my time I think it will actually be better as my time management will need a major overhaul anyway so thats gotta be better all around.

Well thats about it .Will still be focusing on the Raggedies and the softies .
Will hopefully have some new goodies to post on the next couple of days .

The first is a cute design by Country Keepsakes .This lovely raggedy all decked out in her country colours holding her ragged bear .

And then theres another addition to my "Kelseys Kuties" range .This gorgeous chenille bunny designed by "Bit of Whimsy" dolls would make a lovely Easter gift .

What an absolute pleasure it is to work with Cath from "Cathron Country Designs" .

She is truly a talented lady not only designing these wonderful doll patterns but she also does graphics and painting .Such a treasure all rolled into one!

As you can see I haven't put mine into a teacup but I have seen Caths done and they look so cute .This little Annie is free standing holding her garland of flowers .

Easter Chocolate Crow edition

Hi everyone ,

Just thought I'd give a sneak peek of my lines for next weeks "Chocolate Crow trader" .

As it is the Easter theme , I made bunnies if course!!!

The set of 2 little bunnies is from a "Cat & Fiddle " pattern which has a Mumma bunny also.I will try to get her made up before the changeover on the 15th .

The second "Prim bonnie" is by "Craftaholic creations" .I love her patterns they are so quick and easy to make.

Well I didn't get off to a very good start did I!

I can't believe its over a month since I did my last post , where does the time go.

Like I don't have enough to do . I got my childrens range off and running this month , so I have been constructive on the sewing machine but not on the computer . So today I updated my website with some new lines , stuck some old ones on ebay that need clearing and you guessed it ,now I am updating my blog .

I have decided Mondays is now housework and computer days , then 3 days a week are dedicated to my childrens range and 3 days are dedicated to my country/prim range .Wish me luck!

Next Monday I hope to have a giveaway ready to go .As you know I am looking for more ways to build up my followers (not enough love me yet) and thanks very much to PatC from "All is Bright" for her feedback on how I should go about it. Thanks Pat!

Floods , floods everywhere

It is so devasting here in Queensland ,Australia at the moment . There is water everywhere except where I live. For once I actually am happy about living here when I see what so many are going through. They say that up to 200 000 people have been affected in some way. The main roads are cut from our capital city to here, so there will be no food trucks getting through for 3 or 4 days maybe longer , lets hope not.

To all my fellow Queenslanders who are affected I wish you all well and good luck!

Well I'm back!

Where have I been you may well ask ???? not blogging thats for sure .

I must admit I did grow weary of posting blogs and not really getting many hits or followers ( except of course for my lovely 7).

But my one and only New Years resolution was to concentrate super doper hard on my sites this year .None of this silly loosing weight or excercising more , thats not for me . ....as my scales would tell you.

So now I'm looking for ways to increase my followers , so I was thinking of having a giveaway or something along those lines .

Any good ideas would be appreciated from anyone who has managed to increase theirs.!!!!!!!

I will be adding more pics ect in the near future of my makings .

Once again I have some new goodies that have gone up on my website today .

The free standing annie is a gorgeous thing designed by Cath at "Cathron Country Designs"

She is just the sweetest dolly , the photo doesn't do her justice .Don't you just LUV the shoes .

The other doll with her dolly is a Cat & fiddle pattern.

Gini has just put out 3 new patterns and of course I had to have them all .Plus she has a great sale on till the end of the month.

I am still snowed under with orders and I am not getting anywhere near as many dolls made as I want to .So my aim for this week is to knock all the orders over , so I can get onto some more new goodies.

It would help if these designers would stop being so clever and give a poor girl a chance!!! LOL

Well once again it's been way to long since my last post.So many things to keep track of when it comes to the net.I wish I had a full time computer person.Ohhhh ! wouldn't that be lovely.

Thats enough complaining, onto the good stuff.This week is the changeover for the Chocolate Crow Trader and as it was a "Christmas in July" theme it was time to start making some yuletide goodies .Now believe me that is not always easy to get into when you live in sunny Queensland.Here we are in the middle of winter and its about 26deg.But I did manage to get a new Santa and a set of 3 Santa hat ornies made .So I am feeling a little proud of myself.

As a special offer for the rest of July any purchases or orders on goods over the value of $50 gets are free set of "Ho Ho" wooden shelf sitters.I will attach a pic of these for you to look at.

I have also been currently working on these other great designs , but unfortunately they sold within a couple of hours after listing , but as always if you would like one just drop me a email and I can get one made up for you.

Well best I get back to work on these orders so I can get some new items done.

Recieved a heap of new patterns in the mail last week .Can't wait to get started on them!!!!

New line listed on my webpage this week is this set of 4 Annies designed by "Sweet Meadows Farm". I love making dolls from this designer they always turn out sooo nice and this set is no exception.Each Annie is a slightly different size and they range from 9" to 12" .They can also be ordered individually .Please email me for a quote.
